These are some great tips to make your life a bit easier.
Yes i used the words cake mix! Before raising an eyebrow, don't worry all of my Made with luv and sugar desserts are made by hand from scratch. I personally don't see anything wrong with people using cake mixes, okay besides the foreign ingredients they put in them.....sigh. In a later post i'll even devote a whole page to cake mix hacks and all the ways you can use them..........come on people cake mix should not be a swear word lol. If you've ever eaten anything from a Tim hortons, Starbucks or any food/restaurant chain chances are, its from a mix.
It's fine, no ones going to hell for it!
For now check out a few of my fave baking hacks, give them a try and comment below if they work for you!
1. Use an empty water bottle to easily separate yolks from egg whites

2. Stop sugar cookies from spreading- After dough is rolled and cut out, place on cookie sheet and pop it in the fridge for about 20 min. Then bake as per usual.
3. Add a can of fizzy soda, any flavor to a cake mix in place of oil, eggs and milk. Keeps it light and fluffy.
4. Make pancakes moist and airy by adding 1/2 tsp baking soda and 1 cap full of vinegar to the recipe.

5. Old school tip from mom: Keep homemade cookies moist and chewy by placing them in a sealed container or jar with a piece of bread. The moisture from the bread keeps them fresh. By far my favorite way to eat cookies.
